"Until You Can Hold Yourself" depicts a mother holding her baby and was inspired by my own experience of matrescence. As I stepped into motherhood, I found myself moving through a season of transformation while learning to care for someone outside of myself in a way I never had before.
I created this piece as a reminder to hold my baby, hold myself, and be present. To remember that in the midst of all the changes, responsibilities, and unknowns, this is what matters. Love. Connection. Being here, now.
